People-Powered Solutions is an HR consulting and leadership development firm built by practitioners with decades of experience inside large organizations.

We work with growing organizations to build HR infrastructure, develop leaders, and resolve the people-problems that are slowing everything else down. Our clients tend to be operational: healthcare, trades, environmental services, nonprofits, and growing SMBs. What they share is a moment when the people side of the business got complicated enough to need real help.

We don’t hand off a deliverable and disappear. The organizations we work best with want us close: embedded in the work, available when things come up, invested in outcomes rather than outputs. We take time to understand context before we recommend anything, and our solutions look like your organization, not a template we’ve used elsewhere.

Lori-Ann Duguay

FOUNDER/CEO

Lori-Ann spent over two decades in senior HR and operations roles before founding People-Powered Solutions. She’s worked inside large, complex organizations long enough to know where real people-problems actually come from, and how to fix them without making things worse.

Her client work spans HR consulting, conflict resolution, and leadership development. On any given week, she might be building an HR policy framework for a scaling organization, navigating a workplace investigation, or coaching an executive through a leadership transition. She brings the same directness to all of it.

Lori-Ann is a certified coach and Dispute Resolution Practitioner with an Advanced Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Canadian Institute of Applied Negotiation, specializing in Mediation, Negotiation, and Conflict Analysis/System Design. She is a licensed Wiley Everything DiSC partner and holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management and Labour Relations. She is based in Northern Ontario and works with organizations across North America.

Sarah is a Prosci-certified change management practitioner and certified coach. She works with organizations navigating transitions and with the individuals leading those transitions, bringing the same systems-thinking lens to both.

On the organizational side, her clients are typically dealing with culture shifts, new leadership, restructuring, or the breakdown of informal systems that worked fine until they didn’t. Her background spans government, tech-adjacent environments, and consulting, and she’s particularly good at the gap between what gets announced and what actually lands. That gap is almost always a design problem.

Her coaching practice is shaped by her own experience with burnout, values-based decision making, and building systems that work for how her brain actually operates. She’s particularly effective with people dealing with change fatigue, career crossroads, or anyone who’s found that standard leadership advice wasn’t quite written for them.

Julie has over 15 years of experience in office administration and holds a Business Management diploma. She started her career providing virtual support to clients across a range of industries, helping them stay organized and focused on the work that matters most. She has since moved into social media strategy, helping businesses build their online presence, connect with their audience, and grow. She’s committed to staying current on how digital platforms are evolving and brings that to every client she works with.

Over the past 15 years, Holly has held frontline and management roles across a range of teams and industries. She’s good with people because she’s spent her career paying attention to them. Holly specializes in helping individuals and teams build self-awareness, and she has a knack for creating learning experiences that actually shift perspective rather than just filling time. She has facilitated in-person and virtual workshops on a wide variety of topics. Holly holds an Honours degree in Social Work from Laurentian University and has completed additional certificates in coaching and facilitation.
