All participants complete the Everything DiSC® Management assessment and activation session. This includes:

What you'll learn

The program is organized into four themed quarters. Each quarter is 3 months and includes 3 modules.

Each month includes a self-paced e-learning module, a live expert-led session, and a real-world micro-challenge to apply what you’re learning in your role.

Build grounded self-awareness, presence, and personal leadership clarity.

  1. Self-Awareness & Leadership Identity:
    Identify your values, strengths, and blind spots. Activate your DiSC profile and shift from reactive to intentional leadership. Explore the mindset change from peer to leader—especially when you’re navigating credibility gaps, field-based dynamics, or being one of the only women in your environment.
  2. Confident Communication:
    Learn how to speak up with clarity and presence, even in spaces where your voice is underrepresented. Practice setting boundaries, giving and receiving feedback, and building influence without apology. You’ll also unpack how gendered feedback patterns can shape confidence, and how to rewrite them. 
  3. Emotional Intelligence & Regulation:
    Strengthen your ability to manage pressure, lead with empathy, and create psychological safety. Explore how internal narratives like imposter syndrome and the pressure to prove yourself show up in high-stakes, male-dominated spaces, and develop tools to regulate and reframe.

Move ideas forward, manage up, and navigate complex team dynamics.

  1. Influence Without Authority:
    Learn how to lead laterally, build buy-in, and adapt your style to different personalities and site roles. We’ll explore influence across blurry reporting lines, shift schedules, and union contexts, plus how to assert ideas without being dismissed or misread.
  2. Leading Up & Across:
    Gain confidence speaking to senior leadership, communicating strategic value, and advocating for your ideas without falling into double standards around tone or likeability. Learn to speak to your value, increase your visibility, and position yourself for opportunities, without compromising authenticity or impact.
  3. Conflict Resolution & Mediation:
    Address tension, rebuild trust, and lead difficult conversations with calm and confidence. You’ll learn how to de-escalate interpersonal challenges while staying grounded in your values and your role.

Shape culture, elevate performance, and lead in ways that last.

  1. Culture by Design:
    Understand the signals you send as a leader and how they shape team culture – especially in high-pressure, distributed, or male-dominated environments. Learn to reinforce values, recognition, and motivation through everyday actions.
  2. Developing Others: Coaching, Feedback & Performance:
    Build high-performing teams through clear expectations, strengths-based coaching, and meaningful performance reviews. You’ll also explore how to develop others while still setting boundaries—and how to lead without replicating the systems you’ve had to overcome.
  3. Sustainable Leadership & Legacy:
    Explore what sustainable leadership really looks like in a 24/7 industry. Develop strategies to manage energy, set boundaries, and lead in a way that’s compatible with your whole life, not just your job. Prevent burnout for yourself and your team while modelling inclusive, values-driven leadership. 

Think big picture, lead change, and drive real-world improvement.

  1. Strategic Thinking:
    Learn how to prioritize, connect day-to-day work with big-picture goals, and make decisions that balance operational demands with strategic impact. You’ll build confidence in your ability to think and speak like a leader—even in roles that weren’t always seen as strategic.
  2. Leading Through Change:
    Understand how people experience change and what it takes to move teams through resistance, fatigue, and uncertainty. You’ll develop strategies for leading through transitions—whether you’re introducing something new or working within existing site constraints.
  3. Decision-Making & Business Improvement:
    Learn how to assess problems, pitch solutions, and drive improvements rooted in operational reality. We’ll explore ethical decision-making, risk awareness, and how to lead with integrity when pressure is high or clarity is limited.

Yes — the program is designed to work with real schedules, not against them. Each module begins with a self-paced e-learning lesson you can complete anytime during the month. Live webinars are recorded and shared in the participant portal, so if you can’t join live, you can still reflect, apply, and stay on track.

Each module is designed to be doable within a busy schedule. 

You’ll spend about 1–2 hours on the e-learning and real-world challenge at your own pace, then join a 90 minute live webinar at the end of the month.

You choose how deeply you engage — and how far you want to take it.

Each module includes live webinars, real-world practice prompts, peer discussion boards, and optional access to coaching or a mastermind group for deeper support.

We also offer a private platform where you can ask questions, share insights, and connect with a community of leaders navigating similar challenges.

This program is eligible for the Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG), which can cover up to 50% of the cost for eligible employers. We also provide a customizable business case email template and talking points to help you build a strong case for internal funding.

This one is different — it’s structured, spaced out, and grounded in behavioural science. You’ll get practical tools, personalized insight through Everything DiSC, and multiple chances to apply what you learn in your actual role. Before starting your first phase, you’ll complete the Everything DiSC for Management assessment and receive a 1:1 coaching session with a certified facilitator.

This helps you understand your leadership style and sets the foundation for everything that follows — so you’re learning in a way that’s relevant to you, not just generic leadership advice.

Hi, I’m Lori Ann.

In case we haven’t met yet, my name is Lori-Ann.

As a woman in leadership and the founder of People-Powered Solutions, I’ve walked the same path you’re on now. I understand the unique challenges women face in male-dominated industries, like mining—the self-doubt, the struggle to balance personal and professional demands, and the pressure to prove yourself time and again.

When I first stepped into leadership, I faced many of the same hurdles. That’s why I created this program—to provide the tools, strategies, and support that I wish I had when I started my journey. This program isn’t just about skill-building; it’s about creating a community where women in mining can thrive together, lifting each other up as we break barriers and redefine leadership.
